From my childhood, following many French family camping holidays with my parents and sister, it had long been my ambition to relocate (retire) to France.
I have always loved the French way of life.
Having completed 38 years in the UK construction industry – the time has come for me to realise that dream.
I began looking for my ideal location – after much searching I discovered Forest View, from the very first moment I arrived – I felt a very special connection
It is not easy to identify just what it is about Forest View that is so intoxicating….I think it is the combination of the beautiful location, in the heart of the Perche Region, the picturesque lake, the stunning sunsets, breathing the clean, fragrant air… sharing nature in a truly unspoilt and largely undiscovered part of rural France, on the border of the Forest du Saussay.
Together with my daughter Libby, who has a background in the food retail industry – and son Nicholas who is a passionate chef, with a banking and financial background – we are embarking on this exciting new life
We offer large well-kept pitches with unimpeded views of the beautiful, well-stocked carp fishing lake. A fishing peg can be booked for the duration of your stay if required.
We have a wonderfully friendly Plat de Jour restaurant. We have two Plat du Jour evenings and three Bistro evenings. All dishes being prepared from the ground up with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The atmosphere is both peaceful and relaxing.
A place to relieve stresses and reset emotions, reconnect with loved ones, meet old and make new friends, reflect on the past, all whilst looking forward to the future.
There are many experiences to enjoy; fishing, golf, walking, running or cycling.
You may also choose take in the views of the beautiful forest, do some painting or even relax and read. At the end of the day, you can indulge in a beverage whilst basking in the sun on the terrace.
